High Desert Harley-Davidson/Buell. Replaced 32 Metal Halide units with T-8 florescent fixtures that generate the same amount of illumination, but save 232 watts per fixture. The new lighting delivers a 58% energy savings, which will save High Desert $1,618 a year in energy costs. In addition, Enterprise Electric secured $3,720 in rebates from Idaho Power to offset costs of the new T-8 lights. Read Focus Story (PDF)
Large Manufacturing Facility. A Boise-based company slashed energy costs over $53,000 a year. Enterprise Electric replaced 1000-watt Metal Halide lamps in manufacturing and warehouse buildings and T-12 fluorescent lamps in office areas to reduce lighting costs from $67,000 per year before the upgrade to only $14,400 per year after. 1st Presbyterian Church. Reduced energy costs by approximately $900 a year and improved lighting aesthetics while offsetting procurement costs with an $1,849 rebate from Idaho Power.
